Medication file from 2007 National Home and Hospice Care Survey (NHHCS) has been revised. 

The revised 2007 National Home and Hospice Care Survey (NHHCS) medication public use file 
is available for downloading from our website. There was a problem in the creation of the 
linking variable (PATNUM) in the medication file, resulting in unreliable linking between 
the medication file and the patient/discharge file. This problem has been corrected in the 
revised medication file. We advise anyone who linked the earlier 2007 NHHCS medication file 
(released in December 2009) with the patient/discharge file to re-run all analyses using the 
revised medication file before reporting or publishing any 2007 NHHCS data. If you ran any 
analyses using the medication file separately (i.e., not linking it to the patient/discharge 
file), then you do not need to re-run your analyses.
